Race Categories

The 100km Solo
  • This is by application and invitation only
  • Applications must be submitted before 31 December 2014
  • To be considered for entry, runners must have experience in running long distances and are fit and healthy
  • 2 laps of the 50km course
  • Runners must finish within the cut - off time of 18 hours.
  • There are two categories: men and women
The 100km Duo
  • Duo race is a run in a team of two.
  • There are two categories:
    • Open category (For men only and mixed gender team)
    • Women Category (For women only)
  • 1 lap of the 50km course for each of team members.
  • The time of each individual runner will be added together to form the team total 100Km time.
  • Team members are not required to run together.
  • Experienced runners only, should have completed at least a marathon before.
The 50km Solo
  • There are two categories: men and women
  • 1 lap of the 50km course
  • Experienced runners only, should have completed at least a marathon before.
The 25km Run
  • 1 lap of the 25km course
  • See below for age categories
The 15km Run
  • 1 lap of the 15km course
  • See below for age categories
